When Kingdoms of Camelot first introduced the Jewel to the Throne Room, I had mixed feelings. I was excited that there was a method of growing my Throne Room is a quick manner, and it seemed that it favored the attacker based on the jewels that were being found in wilds/barb camps. I was worried about the new addition because, as with so many additions to the game, there was the possibility of additional glitches caused by these new items.
I have already written about how on some occasions is seemed like the Jewels were not being counted in battle for defenders. Many of my alliance mates have confirmed this has happened, but it seems to work sometimes as well.
But then I had a little luck in buying some boxes from the store using saved up gems from watching videos. I was awarded a few Cloudy Attack Debuff Jewels. Excited about these jewels I equipped them to a few of the cards in my TR giving me an additional 2,000 attack debuff.
That day I got into a battle with a member of a hostile alliance who is rather nice and we allways talk about the battles we have to learn from each other.
I sent a mixed wave at him. It landed with my ranged attack debuff totaling just a little over 8,000 and his ranged attack totaling just over 6,500. Seeing the TRs used, and the fact that I had siege walls included in my march, I was confident I had a total victory with very few losses.
I opened the report and found complete loss, not a single troop lived and all of his troops survived. I studied the report and found that his Flame Archers had over 33,000 attack. That is max for the TR he was using, when they should have been debuffed down to base.
Lesson learned: JEWELS ARE GLITCHED ON BOTH SIDES OF BATTLE!!!!
